I started doodling and cartooning at an early age, teaching myself by copying comic books. In college I had the good fortune to spend two years drawing daily editorial cartoons for a Seattle newspaper, garnering numerous awards for that work. This early cartooning experience continues to influence my current art work.

Here is an example of a cartoon-communication used by a large corporation to promote and showcase and internal innovation effort. This flyer was so successful in raising awareness that it is now routinely distributed at college campus events to generate interest from prospective recruits.
