* The protagonist of the ZOONI TALES books is inspired by the author's own covid puppy Zooni. * In the Northern Indian language of Kashmiri, 'zoon' means 'moon' and 'zooni' is a quintessential name for a cute child (usually a girl). * This manuscript originally started as a story titled "Zooni And Mooni", but Mooni did not make the cut.
